====== Secure Shell ====== SSH-Tools (Secure SHell tools) allow you to build an encrypted connection to a SSH server. These connections are usually console-based. With the integrated protocol SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), it is also possible to copy/move/delete files very easily. On Unix, the command ssh belongs to the standard commands. With Windows, SSH tools are available free of charge. [[en:ssh:config|Here]] you will find instructions for installing and using SSH tools. [[en:ssh:socksproxy|Here]]'s a recipe for using ssh as a dynamic proxy for your applications. [[de:ssh:fingerprints|Here]] you will find the fingerprints of the current public key of our SSH server. There are two SSH servers remotely available: ^ Login Server Staff ^ Login Server Students ^ | login-staff.informatik.uni-bonn.de | login-stud.informatik.uni-bonn.de | \\ Those are meant for login. Within our informatics network, please choose one of the Linux [[en:pool|workstations]].
