Recommended working practice guidelines

A responsible arrangement for education and research work includes compliance with the appropriate work and environmental regulations. Within the confines of his work, the students and scientists are liable for the consequences resulting from their work, including civil and criminal liabilities. Federal and other regulations will have to be adequately interpreted and applied to each case. The House rules for PC-Pools define general rules - smoking, drinking, eating:
Smoking is prohibited in the building. Eating at drinking at the workstations is not permitted as well.
The Guidelines for connecting electric devices explains among other things, that electric devices are only to be used within the specified parameters. Any potential dangers for health or security are to be reported to the responsible offical at once..
Annoying ringtones and loud phone calls are disruptive to other users.. Cell phones should be muted or turned off, phone calls should be made outside of the PC pools.
